Been brewing beer and making bread… Some women fill their closet with shoes, however, I fill the valuable closet real estate of my Brooklyn apartment with three (by next week four) gallons of homebrew. It maybe weird but I like to watch them bubble…
And then I use the left over or spent grains from [...] I cleaned. I organized. And now I need to get down to some alterations and knitting new designs. My studio is an Ikea, Craigslist, found art, handmade, collage space.
All the furniture is from Ikea, the Swedish mammoth of all things ready for a hammer and some cursing. The table is the Norden Gateleg Dining [...] I’ve been obsessively making clutch purses since buying some frames from Bits and Purses a couple of weeks ago. It is part of the craft series presented by Etsy. Julia from Etsy and maker of Your Secret Admiral was a terrific instructor. My first book was a failure and I do not even want to show that to the world. And on the [...] STUFF THEM! I worked my volunteer shift at Southside CSA this week and took home a bunch of left over peppers; cubanelles (sweet like anaheims) and bell peppers. So I stuffed these peppers with sausage, garlic, red onions, tomatoes, brown and wild rice and spices. I have so many peppers they’ve been on my mind so much [...] I can’t wait for the arrival of this… Hah! Take that Lomo with your overpriced reproductions of a plastic camera! Thank you VintageEtc, for your reasonably priced vintage items. I love Etsy, not only because I can sell but also buy! And I’ve been trying to buy only from Etsians these days. I even picked up a [...] I posted new items on Etsty! Click this! It was exhausting all the resizing, uploading, describing, etc. So I made some yummy Kimchi pancakes to revive me… And now after I’ve loaded trillions of pictures my computer won’t load the one of my kimchi jun, lame. Problem fixed… Homemade Kimchi made into pancakes I just got the pictures from Saturday’s shoot back from Mark Sperry. I’ll be spending my Tues. night posting a ton on here and on Etsy. I’ll be drafting some patterns and maybe if I’m lucky I’ll actually make something. With all I have to do for self promotion, creating and living I’ve chalked up [...] |
